Getting Started
Set up your workspace, invite your team, and start using Doavers CRM in minutes.
1Create your account
Navigate to the registration page and sign up with your email address. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm your account.
After verification, you'll be prompted to create your first workspace. A workspace is your organization's isolated environment containing all your data — contacts, deals, projects, invoices, and team members.
2Configure your workspace
Head to Settings to customize your workspace:
- Branding — Upload your logo, set your brand colors (primary, accent, sidebar), and customize email footers and PDF branding.
- General — Set your fiscal year start, invoice/estimate numbering prefixes, default tax rate, currency, and date format.
- Users & Roles — Invite team members and assign them roles. Each user has one role per workspace (more on roles below).
3Invite your team
Go to Settings → Users to invite team members by email. Each user can have one of the following roles:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access to all modules, settings, and user management |
| Manager | Access to CRM, projects, finance; limited settings |
| Staff | Access to assigned modules; view/edit own tasks |
| Support | Access to support widgets, tickets, and knowledgebase |
Note: A user can belong to multiple workspaces but has one role per workspace. If you need granular permission control, you can create custom roles with specific module and action permissions.
4Explore the modules
Doavers CRM is organized into the following modules accessible from the sidebar:
- Dashboard — Real-time overview of your key metrics: open deals, active projects, overdue invoices, recent activities, and revenue charts.
- Leads — Capture and manage leads. Track sources, assign scores, set follow-ups, and convert qualified leads into customers.
- Deals — Visual Kanban pipeline with drag-and-drop stage management. Weighted revenue forecasts and win/loss tracking.
- Contacts — Centralized directory of customers and contacts. Full interaction history, communication logs, and linked entities (deals, projects, invoices).
- Projects — Plan with phases and tasks, track with Gantt charts or Kanban boards. Assign team members, set dependencies, and track budgets.
- Invoices — Create and send invoices, estimates, and credit notes. Accept online payments via integrated gateways (Midtrans, Xendit, Stripe).
- Expenses — Track project and operational expenses with receipt uploads. Categorize and approve expenses.
- Products — Define your product/service catalog with pricing and tax rates, reusable across invoices and estimates.
- Support — Manage the embeddable live chat widget, knowledgebase articles, ticket system, and canned responses.
- Customer Portal — Give your clients a branded portal where they can view projects, pay invoices, and approve proposals.
5Set up your customer portal
The customer portal gives your clients a self-service experience under your brand:
- Clients log in with their email at your portal URL
- They can view their projects, tasks, and their progress
- View and pay invoices online
- Approve or reject estimates and proposals
- Download documents and files shared with them
Configure the portal appearance in Settings → Branding. Your logo, colors, and custom domain are reflected automatically.
6Enable the support widget
The support widget is an embeddable chat and knowledgebase tool you can add to your website:
- Go to Support → Widget Settings
- Configure appearance: primary color, welcome message, offline message
- Copy the embed script and paste it into your website's
<head>tag - Visitors can start conversations, browse knowledgebase articles, and submit tickets
- All conversations appear in your CRM under the Support module
