Leads

Capture, track, and nurture leads from every channel. Smart scoring and automated follow-ups ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.

Overview

The Leads module is your first line of customer acquisition. Every new prospect enters here — whether from a web form, manual entry, import, or API. You can qualify them, score their potential, and convert qualified leads into customers with full history preserved.

Leads flow through a customizable pipeline: New → Contacted → Qualified → Proposal Sent → Negotiation → Won/Lost. You can also convert leads directly into deals and customers.

Lead Management

Creating a Lead

  • Manual entry — Click the "Add Lead" button and fill in details: name, email, phone, company, source, and estimated value.
  • Import — Bulk import leads via CSV with automatic field mapping.
  • API — Create leads programmatically via the REST API.
  • Widget conversions — Chat widget visitors can be automatically created as leads.

Lead Scoring

Each lead has a configurable score (0–100) that helps prioritize follow-ups. Scoring is based on:

  • Lead source quality (e.g., referral vs. cold email)
  • Engagement level (email opens, website visits)
  • Estimated deal value
  • Manual adjustment by your team

Lead Statuses

  • New — Freshly captured, not yet contacted
  • Contacted — First outreach made
  • Qualified — Meets your qualification criteria
  • Proposal Sent — Quote or proposal delivered
  • Negotiation — Active discussions underway
  • Won — Successfully converted
  • Lost — Opportunity closed without conversion
  • Converted — Moved to customer/deal

Lead Activities

Every interaction with a lead is tracked automatically:

  • Calls and emails logged against the lead
  • Notes and meeting logs
  • Follow-up tasks with due dates
  • Status change history

You can schedule follow-up activities directly from the lead detail view, with reminders for your team.

Converting a Lead

When a lead is ready, click Convert to:

  • Create a Customer record with all lead information carried over
  • Create a Deal in your pipeline with the estimated value
  • Optionally create a Project if the deal requires delivery

After conversion, the lead is marked as Converted and linked to the resulting customer and deal records. All activity history remains accessible.
